Birthday things.
Hello, all!
The last week was so busy with friends and celebrating that it hardly feels like a sunday night now, but it is. I'm trying to be in my routine of cleaning/laundry but watching Man v. Food is kind of winning. I love! food shows. Any and all of them.
Anyway, getting ready for my birthday this week! A lot of cleaning, outfit planning (shopping!!) more cleaning, menu planning, and so on.. I'm excited! So excited. I love birthdays and celebrating, especially my own..heh. Hopefully I'll take pictures of that stuff. Blogs are so much better when they have pictures.
So for today... things I want for my birthday! (Mostly all I want is good times with my friends and family, thats most important, but I can't help but want some material things as well!!)
A cute shaker/tumblr! I think they are cute and fun, even for drinks not involving alcohol! I love that you can pour whatever in here, add ice, shake for a minute, and your drink is instantly cold! Love that!
The other night I saw an informercial for a water filter system, that filtered into waterbottles! I am obsessed! I realize this is somewhat pointless as it is very easy to pour filtered water into a water bottle already, but I just think it's so cute and really a pretty smart idea. It makes 4 at once! so fast and simple and I love purified water. Chad and everyone I worked with in Lawrence call me a Johnson County brat for it, but I don't care. It tastes better once it's been purified! And I'm sure it's better for you. I understand the whole "you need germs to fight germs" spiel, and I'm all for that. I do not sanitize my hands 300 times a day, I don't regularly use bleach through out my home, and if my kid or dog accidentally eats dirt, I'm not going to show up at the emergency room. But I stand by the deliciousness of clean, pure, beautiful, delicious water! Perfect!
Next on the list I don't think I'll use a picture for, but basically I'd like more and cuter clothes and especially shoes. And also a better fashion sense to make that happen! wahoooo
